Decorative wall made of Corten steel
Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is a steel alloy made of iron to which copper, silicon, nickel and chromium have been added. As soon as Corten steel is exposed to the elements, it will naturally form a protective layer, which may take several months. This natural, cured coating provides protection against further corrosion. A feature of Corten steel is its orange-brown color and its longevity.
