Caring about your water feature...

Make sure that fountain fullfiled with water and the pump is well submerged. We strongly recommend  to refill the fountain with clean water regularly and, also, to add an algae prevention treatment to avoid the build-up of algae and keep the water clear. The algae treatment can be added to your shopping basket as an accessory. Always switch off the power before cleaning and maintaining the pump to avoid an electric shock. Never turn on the fountain pump to run without water. It is not recommended to leave the fountain turned on constantly. It is recommended to turn the fountain on/off when required.

Preparing your fountain for the Winter time...

Do not allow the ice to form in the bowls as it may crack the bowls. Pour out the water, wipe and clean all bowls and surfaces. Apply a Fountain Protection Cover (This can be added to your shopping basket) drain the fountain and store indoors in order of total protection and prolong the life of the paint finish. Disconnect the pump  from the main supply and remove it from the fountain. The pump should be cleaned by following the instructions added to each fountain.
